Why are we approaching you specifically now?

The Jerusalem Municipality recently launched a public tender for the building of a synagogue in the neighborhood. The tender ends in just a few weeks and we intend to submit our candidacy.

We request your support to ensure that the land will be given to a congregation that will utilise it for the benefit of the neighborhood and residents. With your help we can make it happen and B"H build our Shul ASAP for the sake of us all.

Who are we?

Our community has been operating for seven years as a vibrant orthodox congregation, consisting of about 40 young and young at heart families from the neighborhood and the area. The community has prayed regularly in "Migdaley Ha-Yam HaTichon" since 2015 in cooperation with its residents.

Our community is not only a place of worship, but much more!

It is a home with a communal supportive structure which encourages involvement, Torah learning and mutual support. We see the existing human diversity in the neighborhood as an integral part of what we are and invite you to join and take part in our community.

Our nonprofit organisation was founded in 2013 by and for the residents of the neighborhood, with a vision of establishing a young and diverse community suitable for the special fabric of the neighborhood. Since its formation, the main goal of the NPO was to build and run a neighborhood synagogue, including cultural activities for the residents of the neighborhood.
